Eric Pfisterer is a 2008 LHP/1B/OF from Don Bosco Prep, residing in Saddle River, New Jersey, with a 6'3"/205 pound frame. Pfisterer has a tall big frame with a good lean build. Pfisterer pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a smooth arm stroke. He has a loose arm action and his arm works well. Pfisterer has good arm speed with projectable velocity. He uses a high leg kick at balance point and an online delivery. Pfisterer keeps the ball down in the zone well and is able to locate his fastball consistently. He showed good mound presence and poise on the mound along with an understanding of how to pitch. Pfisterer throws a 1/7 curveball that has good bite to it. At the plate, Pfisterer starts with a slightly open stance and uses a knee lift trigger. He maintains good balance through his swing and he generates bat speed. He's an athletic player who runs well with a 6.81-60 yard dash. Pfisterer moves well in the outfield and has good arm strength with carry. Pfistereris a national level prospect and is an outstanding student.
