Connor Judkins is a 2027 1B/RHP, C, 3B, SS with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Elkhorn, NE who attends Elkhorn South. Large, square shouldered frame with present physical strength throughout frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 9.16 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, fields the ball closer to body, some hook to arm action through back, shows accuracy on throws, fields ball cleanly, overall footwork will continue to refine. Short strides moving towards the ball in the infield, fields it out front, developing carry on throws across; lower set up behind the plate, longer release, works on top of throws well, can continue to incorporate additional lower half into throws. Also pitched, deliberate tempo to delivery, works exclusively out of the stretch; shorter arm action through the back working to a high three-quarters release, fastball topped out at 67 mph, lower effort release, true in life through the zone. Left-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; bent knee stance and utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Keeps hands inside the baseball and looks to lift at the point of contact, high finish through the ball; had a nice showing in game, stayed more direct to the baseball and showed quickness to his swing.
