Jaxon Baptist is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 5-10 167 lb. frame from El Paso, TX who attends Coronado. Lean, wiry build with ample projection left. Ran a 6.94 in the sixty. Primary right-handed pitcher, very smooth and in-sync mechanics with some drop and drive from mid three-quarter slot. Stays in line and drives off back leg well. Fastball showed good run to both sides and commanded to the corners. Mixed in high-70s shorter slider, changeup has makings of fading pitch. Tight low-70s curveball with depth mixed in. Missed bats, forced soft contact. Feel for mix, picks his spots and knows the zone. Pitcher type feel for arsenal and plenty to more to build upon as he gains strength. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect list.
