Tyler Sellers is a 2015 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Locust Grove, GA who attends Locust Grove. Large frame, thick strong build. Pitches from an over the top arm slot with a long arm action and extended release. Quick online delivery, gets on top of the baseball well, natural cutting action on fastball, up to 85 with consistent 83-85 mph velocity. Good feel for 11-5 curveball with good spin, solid slider break as well, flashed occasional changeup as well for four pitch mix. Good carry on outfield throws with a shorter arm action, ball comes out of hand cleanly. Hits from a wide stance with a line drive swing plane and good strength at contact, long linear stride, solid bat speed, ball carries well when squared. Good student, named to the National Underclass Session 3 top prospect team.
