Colin McGuire is a 2015 3B/SS, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Springfield, PA who attends Cardinal O'Hara. Medium, athletic frame with with a lean build and room to fill out with added strength. Solid runner, ran a 6.79 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, moves well on feet, works through the ball well, rounds the ball nicely when showing range to his left. Take an extra step at release, arm strength on throws across with accuracy, smooth transfers. Right-handed hitter, starts with a spread stance and a high hand set. Line drive swing plane, shows a feel for the barrel of the bat with contact skills, line drive contact, projects for more strength in swing. Outstanding student.
