Trey Dillard is a 2017 RHP with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Desert Mountain HS. Thick and extra strong build. Deceptive delivery with lots of energy and moving parts, uses his lower half well to help generate velocity, ball jumps out of his hand, high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 94 mph, live fastball with movement in different directions, will have to work hard on vertical fastball command but a tough pitch to hit down in the zone. Flashed a sharp downer slider but inconsistent with it at present. Reliever profile but has outstanding arm speed and deception if he can harness it. Good student.
