Carter Wright is a 2021 C/1B, 3B with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Blairsville, GA who attends Union County. Medium to large build with room to still fill out and strengthen as he continues to develop. Primary catcher, sets up in a lower crouch, plenty of quick twitch actions out of his crouch. Strong arm as well, solid comprehension for his glove work. Posted a 1.88 second pop time down to second base in the in and out workout. At the plate, uses an even and upright stance with a mid leg kick trigger. Flat barrel plane through the zone, good pop to all fields that will continue to develop. Backspins the ball consistently. Good feel for the barrel overall. Good student in the classroom as well.
