Connor Lee is a 2020 C/OF, UT with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Sanford, FL who attends Lake Mary High School. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, gains short ground with lower half coming out of crouch and can continue to implement additional lower half, receives the ball out front, shows accuracy on throws down to second base with arm strength that will continue to develop. Takes longer strides to the ball in the outfield, reads hops well and adjusts, clean arm stroke through the back side, occasionally gets under the ball at release. Righthanded hitter, begins with a narrow base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate. Loads barrel at start of swing and utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing in the box. Keeps hands inside the ball and stays short through the zone with swing path, best contact to pull side when generating extension out front. Very good student.
