Dawson Coe is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Loganville HS. Large frame with broad shoulders, wide hips, and significant physical projection. Primary lefthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Leg lift up past the belt with a hip turn at the gather point. Quicker arm through the back with a full hand path. Lands closed and works across his body to generate good angle. Fastball was up to 89 mph from an extended three-quarters arm slot. Ball jumps out of the hand well and showed a low-70s curveball. Tough to land consistently given arm slot but flashed it at times. Maintains velocity out of the stretch and showed a changeup as well. Great student. Verbal commitment to Tennessee.
