Jude Zern is a 2021 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Wyckoff, NJ who attends St. Joseph Regional. Large frame with athletic, projectable frame. Lefthanded pitcher, slower tempo to delivery, stays balanced, compact arm action to overtop, from-ear slot, deceptive, shows ability to vary delivery looks, fastball worked 78-83 mph with some plane to the plate. Curveball showed good spin and depth on 1/7 shape plane, good pitch for strikes or as chase. Showed changeup with good fade and deception out of the hand. Did a good job pounding the zone with a three-pitch mix, good feel for sequencing. Named to 2018 Sunshine Northeast Top Prospect List.
