Danny Hussey is a 2020 OF/LHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from West Hartford, CT who attends Saint Thomas Moore. Large frame with lean, highly-projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.19 seconds. Hits from open stance with high hands and back elbow, leg lift trigger, whippy bat speed with clean path through the zone, athletic swing, torques hips well, consistent loud barrel with excellent power projection. Showed very good defensive tools in the outfield, moves well and reads the ball off the bat well, gets in good position to throw, arm strength stands out, excellent carry on throws, clocked up to 93 mph. Also stood out on the mound, creates plane from high three quarters slot, good angle there as well, fastball worked 84-88 mph with good arm side life, also shows quality curveball with 1/7 shape and sharp, biting depth. High-end two-way potential. Named to 2019 Northeast Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
