Brandon Edwards is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Madison, MS who attends St. Joseph Catholic. Recorded a 6.81 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compact frame with present strength and athleticism. Primary outfielder with some bounce in his steps; moves well into the fielding process, while gathering slightly off to the side and working into a segmented crow-hop. Recorded arm strength up to 75 mph in drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a crouched, even stance with a high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Middle-to-opposite field approach with inside hand path and occasional line drive impact. Contact oriented stroke that translated well into game action with multiple instances of loud contact. Speed directly impacts the game on both sides of the ball. Will improve with continued refinement of swing mechanics. Excellent Student.
