Patrick Dilullo is a 2018 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Round Rock HS. Large frame with a lean, athletic build. Projects for additional strength with continue physical maturity. Ran a 6.57 sixty yard dash. Primary shortstop with deliberate footwork while ranging to and surrounding the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling the baseball out front with developing fluidity. Flashed some range to each side. Deep arm action at releases with some loose actions. Topped at 83 miles per hour across the infield with good accuracy when maintaining balance. Right handed hitter with a spread, balanced stance. Very quiet front side and launches with rotational lower half actions. Loose, extended barrel path that created a naturally lifted swing plane. Flashed some jump off the barrel when squaring baseball and working to the pull side gap. Consistently barreled baseball throughout batting practice generating some rising line drive contact. Starts from the middle of the rubber while on the mound and shows a simple side step to medium leg lift delivery. Stays tall on back side at gather and drives to the plate with a compact stride length. Released from a three-quarters arm slot that generated some sinking action down in the zone. Creates some cross body arm action at times when landing at a closed front side position. Fastball showed good life through the zone with occasional run between 79-81 miles per hour. Good feel for curveball offering, shows 12/6 shape with good rotation and solid downer depth. Also flashed a changeup with late fading life to arm side. Repeated arm action and mechanics well with the ability to get to each edge of the plate. Outstanding student as well.
