Will Stevens is a 2019 RHP with a 6-2 210 lb. frame from Kansas City, MO who attends Park Hill HS. Big and strong physical build, looks taller than listed on the mound. Slow paced under control delivery with some late energy to the plate, accelerates his arm very smoothly, easy tension free arm circle in back. Consistent upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight, fills up the strike zone with his fastball and pitches aggressively off it. Mid-70's curveball a solid second pitch, flashes tight spin and hard biting action. Threw a low 80's cutter but tended to deaden his lower half and slow his delivery on the pitch. Former primary catcher who has progressed quickly on the mound. Good student.
