Dylan Beasley is a 2022 OF/RHP, 2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends Harrison. Small and young frame, still growing into his body with plenty of room to fill and lots of time to do so. Ran a 7.50 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, attacks the ball fielding in to the side, could gain more ground into throws for added zip, developing arm strength that will only improve as he matures and gets stronger. Secondary righthanded pitcher, quick and compact windup, short arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, cuts off extension out in front, could work on extending more at release and letting go of the baseball more out in front, would like to see the lower half implemented more into the delivery to help with arm speed, fastball was the only pitched he showed and topped out at 69 mph, should develop an offspeed pitch for added effectiveness. Righthanded hitter, wide base, inverted toe tap and hand hitch into swing, inside hand path that stay short to the ball, level swing plane, showcased the ability to turn the barrel over effectively, lots of pull side line drive contact.
