Ty Marshall is a 2023 C/3B, OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Cayce, SC who attends Brookland Cayce. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.68 seconds. Switch-hitter, looked a little more natural from the left side, narrow and open stance with high back elbow, gets the barrel out on line drive plane, whole-field approach with quality barrel skills. Little bit stiffer from the right side but showed contact skills and ability to work to all fields on a line. Primary catcher, good low set with flex in hips, receives well out front, balance and quickness to steps out of crouch, clocked up to 73 mph on throws with good accuracy. Also took infield reps, hands work well out front and to glove side, clocked up to 79 mph on throws across the diamond. Good student.
