Henry Cone is a 2021 RHP/C/3B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Brenham, TX who attends Brenham. Medium frame with strong, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.30 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, stays inline through arm stroke, good arm speed through release, hooks through the back, tall-and-fall delivery, could get more out of lower half, fastball worked 82-85 mph with good plane to the plate, good feel for cutter in low-80's with late glove-side life, also worked in curveball with depth and shape. Good upside on the mound. Switch-hitter, showed better from the left side, quiet load, hands work through zone well, quality bat speed, impacts the ball and can drive it up the middle and pull side. Gets onto front side more righthanded with downward path, shows contact skills. Worked out in the infield and threw 83 mph across. Excellent student, named to 2019 National Underclass South Top Prospect List.
