Max Andeel is a 2021 OF/MIF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Placentia, CA who attends Orange Lutheran HS. Max is a gifted player. His advanced skill set dictates that he not only projects to the next level, but he will impact it when he gets there. In addition to his very evident elite ability on the field, Max is also an exemplary student. He ran a highly impressive 6.80 60 yard dash. A primary outfielder, Max shows advanced actions that project. It is evident he has played at a higher level than most. He reads the ball well off the bat and positions quickly. He plays through the fielding action with gathering momentum. His glovework is excellent and he transitions quickly and confidently. His 82 mph throwing velocity is noteworthy and his throws show plus carry and are always on the mark. Max has the look of a Division I outfielder. At the plate, Max starts with an open stance and quietly closes to trigger. His trigger is quick and solid. He has a flatter bat path with slight lift at contact. He shows consistent plus feel for the barrel and makes loud contact. The ball jumps off his bat and although he more of a line drive guy now, future power potential is there. Max is a big time talent. He shows plus tools in just about every area. His game is solid now and certainly projects to the next level. BIG UPSIDE for this talented, mature, and accomplished player.
