Tyler Oneill is a 2021 C/RHP, OF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from North Bellmore, NY who attends Wellington C Mepham. Medium and athletic build with some strength present. Ran an 8.00 second 60 yard dash, 5.07 second home to first. Primary catcher who only pitched at the event, works on the mound with a side step up to a belt high leg lift, takes his arm back to a full arm stroke up to a high 3/4 arm slot, takes a short stride down the mound getting out in front with uphill actions, developing lower half involvement that will improve velocity with added back leg drive. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mixed in a curveball with 12-6 shape that shows sharper bite when thrown with more conviction, advanced changeup with late sinking life to it, fields his position well and projects well with proper refinement to mechanics. Outstanding student.
