Marc Emmerman is a 2025 SS/2B, OF with a 5-7 135 lb. frame from Redondo Beach, CA who attends Mira Costa. Recorded a 7.80 second sixty yard dash time. Smaller frame with a lean and athletic build. Primary shortstop with quick feet and great hands, feel for the glove was obvious. Quick and twitchy actions, moves laterally with ease, very good showing with fluid and projectable actions, advanced defensive skills for his age. Secondary outfielder, gets into good positions and fields the ball cleanly out front, made accurate throws at 78 mph. Right-handed hitter with a narrow and slightly open stance and a big stride in. High intent swinger, shows impressive bat speed for his age with present barrel accuracy. Level swing, has definite feel for the barrel and it stays in the zone well. Produced solid contact consistently in BP and the games. Good athlete with a great base to build from, will continue to improve as he grows and gets stronger. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 14U Sunshine West Showcase Top Prospect List.
