Toby Harris is a 2026 SS/RHP, OF with a 5-3 125 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends Brooklyn Friends. Recorded a 8.24 second sixty-yard dash time. Small, slender frame with a high waist and plenty of time to physically mature. Primary shortstop with a developing defensive skill set. Uses deliberate footwork to approach the baseball, while fielding out in front with a clean funnel. Displays some range to either side, while exhibiting segmented actions from glove into the throwing position. Recorded developing arm strength up to 67 mph across the diamond during drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from an abbreviated windup with small rocker step and slightly higher then belt high leg lift. Incorporates rotational movements down the slope, striding short out to foot strike and working into a three-quarters arm slot. Fastball worked in the 69-72 mph range for most of his outing and topped out at 73 mph in this look. Exhibits developing command of the strike zone and mixed in a promising 11-5 shaped curveball with gradual depth that will continue to improve as he adds more velocity. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a high hand set, high back elbow and hover trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half mechanics and slightly downhill swing path to produce consistent contact. Displays some present bat speed and occasional line drive impact when on-time, will continue to improve with proper swing adjustments, refinements of his movements defensively and additional strength.
