Charlie Cross is a 2028 C/UT with a 5-5 175 lb. frame from Nesbit, MS who attends Lewisburg. Big soft frame. Behind the dish, he sets up in a staggered offset crouch. Post reception he stands straight up out of the crouch with a longer exchange. Long arm action is inefficient for the postion but has some feel to get the ball down to second in rhtyhm at times. At the plate, he sets up in an open stance with toe tap timing mechanism. The approach frequently utilizes the opposite field. Hands works direct with makings of some quickness and suddenness. 9.87 60-yard. 2.59 pop time.
