Evan Carswell is a 2026 OF/LHP, 1B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Humble, TX who attends Kingwood Park. Strong filled out frame and good athletic build. Ran a 7.01 in the sixty. Outfielder, works from a high three-quarter slot and pulls across. Good arm strength and intent down, solid arm strength. Moves to the ball very well. Left-handed pitcher, upbeat delivery from mid three-quarter slot. Rides down slope well from clean arm action. Fastball has life and gets extended out front. Developing shape on his slider and changeup, both have action and show promise in same velocity range. Left-handed hitter, works with rhythm and has a level swing through the zone. Solid bat speed and feel for the barrel, impacted a few to the pull side and shows promise. Good student.
