Braden Adorno is a 2029 SS/RHP, 3B, MIF, OF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from North Port, FL. Young, narrow shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.80 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front, shows athleticism in actions and plays with confidence, hands work to either side, arm strength will continue to develop on throws across but shows accuracy, young footwork. Also pitched, nice tempo and rhythm to delivery on the mound, shorter and on line stride coming down the mound; shorter arm action through the back working to a higher three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 73 mph early on, mostly true through the zone, pitched to contact and mixed both a curveball and knuckleball. Curveball shows shorter shape up to 57 mph in the zone. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly closed stance with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a toe tap trigger for timing. Linear swing path through the zone, shows quickness to hands and shows the ability to turn over the barrel. Contact oriented approach and comfort working to the pull side, tools to build off of with additional strength.
