Jackson Almeida is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Pittsfield, MA who attends Pittsfield. Recorded a 7.63 second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with some present lower half strength and some quick twitch. Primary catcher with a sound defensive skill set and tons of upside at the position. Receives from a narrow, square stance with soft hands and quick, direct mid-line transfer. Gains ground quickly out of the crouch and plenty of present arm strength. Recorded accurate throws up to 70 mph from behind the plate and exhibited game like actions during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a slightly open stance with a tight hand set, high back elbow and leg lift trigger. Compact, line drive stroke with some present bat speed and good feel for the barrel. Displayed consistent impact to the pullside and flashed some power potential to left centerfield. Will continue to expand his offensive profile with added strength. Tons of projection remaining with above average defensive skill set and more to come offensively. Named to the 2022 13/14U Northeast Showcase Top Prospect List.
