Julian Baldwin is a 2025 OF/RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Central, SC who attends D W Daniel. Good, symmetrical frame with present strong build and solid overall athleticism and room to add more with time. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.53 seconds. Primary position OF, moving well on his feet getting to the ball with good angles. First step quickness and breaks down to field with the glove out front into deliberate midline transfer. Standard inline arm path creating strong throws up to 83 mph with accuracy back to the infield. Secondary RHP, using the full windup and small side step to abbreviated leg lift before breaking hands at the chest. Shallow arm path working through over the top arm angle. Pulls head a bit in transition causing some arm side misses but turn aggressively in the core. FB up to 79 mph with sinking action, emerging off speed selection with the slider and changeup both requiring some refinement. RHH starting with an upright stance and inline with lower handset over the plate. Gets off his backside and takes a steeper approach to impact with plenty of hand strength and solid bat speed. Showed good launch and gap power when on plane through contact. Elite performer in the classroom.
