Eddie Lucero is a 2028 SS/RHP with a 5-4 105 lb. frame from Huntington Beach, CA who attends Huntington Beach. Medium athletic build. In the infield, he shows proper foot work with early signs of advanced glove technique. Athletic lateral actions with quick accurate throws across the diamond. In the outfield, he moves well, fielding each ball out front. Short quick arm action created decent jump out of the hand for the age. Left-handed hitter, wide base with a high back elbow. The hands work direct with solid turn of the lower half. Flashes solid hand acceleration and feel to hit. Got it on the barrel a bunch throughout and has all the makings in place to make the jump when he reaches peak physical maturity. On the mound, its a stretch exclusive operation with linear actions down the mound. He shows subtle drop and drive tendencies with decent extension. Short arm action with three-quarters release. 7.62 60-yard. Outstanding student.
