Paul Graff is a 2009 RHP/1B/3B with a 6'3'', 220 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Temecula Valley. Graff has a big frame with a thick build. Graff pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He uses a full circle arm arc in back with average arm speed. Graff uses a high leg kick with an inline delivery. He uses tall and fall style mechanics and has an upright finish. Graff pitches with effort and can stay back better to gain more velocity. He throws an 11/5 curveball with big break. His curveball got better and better as the game went along. Graff also throws a change up with sink on it with good life. Graff will throw harder with a few adjustments. At the plate, Graff starts with an open stance and flexed knees. He has quick hands to the baseball and generates good bat speed. Graff has good pullside pop and the ball jumps off his bat. He has raw power and gets the barrell there. Defensively, Graff works well around the base at 1st with solid actions. He is a good student.
