Jacob Pfaff is a 2024 3B/IF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Rocky River, OH who attends St Ignatius. He has a tall frame with a thick build and present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.55 seconds. Primary third baseman that uses longer steps to both sides of his body. Does a nice job of working around the ball and fields it cleanly out in front of his body. He has a longer throwing motion and made accurate throws to the base. Left-handed hitter that starts in an even base and an upright stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He uses a small stride for timing and has a rotational swing. He has a flatter path through the zone and finishes with a high, two-handed follow through. He has an up-the-middle approach and looks to his line drives. Very good student.
