Yuya Nakamura is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends Earl Haig Secondary School. Medium, square shouldered frame with a lean build and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.69 60-yard dash. Worked out in the outfield in this look, moves with energy to the ball, short steps on the approach, quickness to arm and ball comes out cleanly while controlling body well, clean actions and repeats. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow base and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate, balanced base to start. Full swing path through the zone with extension through the zone and long finish through the ball. Ingredients to build upon in swing, handsy stroke with line drive contact coming off, contact oriented approach. Very good student.
