Cale Wigington is a 2026 C/OF with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Atoka, OK who attends Caddo. Primary Catcher with an athletic build. Sets up in a side saddle and gains ground through the plate. Showed good footwork and good ability to set himself up and make strong throws. Throws made with good strength and accuracy behind them. Pushes through the slot with longer arm action. Could afford to shorten up. Was up to 73 from behind the dish with a 2.08 pop time. Also ran a 6.97 sixty. Right-handed hitter with a narrow base starting slightly open. High hand set with a medium leg lift trigger for timing and rhythm. Clears the hips well and rotates hard at the top half of things as the hands really rear back on the load. Can impact it hard on a line to all fields when on the barrel. Excellent Student.
