Evan Walker is a 2028 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 135 lb. frame from Lake Tapps, WA who attends Auburn Riverside. Features a tall wiry build. Ran a 7.55 60-yd dash. In the INF, showed quality actions. Noticeable feel for how to move on the dirt. Feet work light to start with some slight hesitancy into reception. Glove flips over on time and fields it clean within some good posture. Shows a shorter arm stroke that got off accurate throws across with avg. strength. At the plate, sits in a medium base with lower hanging hands. Hands/barrel stay neutral throughout his load and forward move where he keeps it relatively simple into launch. Shorter/direct swing path with some stiffness through rotation. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level. Best results were some quality LDs the other way where he showed he could keep his hands inside the baseball well. On the mound, he side steps into mid-chest knee tuck. Minimal engagement/drop in driveleg but works with good direction as he gets down the mound. Hand lead arm path out the glove that gets up to a normal 3/4 slot with avg. armspeed for his level. Filled up the zone with a low-mid 70s FB that exhibited some natural running action. Mixed in a low 60s developing breaker that he landed for strikes and that flashed good depth. Also threw some CHs that had decent fading action.
