Hudson Switken is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Naples, FL who attends Community School Of Naples. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and projectable build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.49 60-yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher, works out of a stretch only operation with hands set at the numbers; belt high leg lift up to balance point and works with a medium length arm stroke through the backside getting to a three-quarters release point. Worked around the zone and repeated delivery well, fastball topped out at 70 mph with short life and showed feel to land a bigger 1-7 shaped curveball; arm speed will continue to develop with physical strength gains, shows feel to mix both pitches in zone. Fields the ball out front with one hand and to the side in the outfield, longer arm stroke with a high release point, shows some carry on throws to the intended bag. Left-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and an open stance; lowers hands at start of swing into load. Contact oriented approach, handsy swing and works on a linear path through the zone. Very good student.
