2022 Northern California Workout Showcase (Sunday)
David Hale is a 2025 SS/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Elk Grove, CA who attends Elk Grove. Long and lean build that oozes with future projection. Ran the sixty in 7.50 seconds. A primary SS, he did a nice job of consistently fielding balls out front cleanly. His top throw across the infield was clocked at 73 MPH. With the bat he hits out of an upright, narrow stance and uses a slight leg kick to generate leverage. Showed a middle-pull approach along with a flat bat path through the zone. On the mound he throws from a high arm slot and his fastball topped out at 76 MPH with arm side run and he showed quality feel for his command. Also showed a changeup that played well off the fastball with its late action. Great student in the classroom as well.
