Alec Ochipinti is a 2027 OF/LHP with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Lake Highland Preparatory. Medium, lean frame with room to continue adding strength. Right-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow in the stance with a medium base, short stride out into contact, looks to lift the ball at impact with developing strength to the middle of the field. On the barrel at times and worked to the gaps consistently. Primary outfielder, fields the ball cleanly off to the side, big crowhop into throws, over the top release point with developing arm strength shown to both bags. Recorded accurate throws up to 71 mph. Secondary left-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery, full arm path to a high three-quarters slot. Pounded the zone with a two-pitch mix. Fastball got up to 76 mph (1377 RPM) and worked in the low-to-mid-70s. Mixed a curveball with 1-7 shape and bigger depth, up to 62 mph (1760 RPM). Great student.
