Oscar Johnson is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Puslinch, ON who attends Centennial. Features a smaller, compact build. Ran an 8.27 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder. Charges the ball hard in the outfield using an aggressive approach. Catches the ball cleanly and transfers well into fairly accurate throws. Has quality arm strength for size with more coming down the line. Threw 74 mph during workouts. Left-handed hitter. Utilizes an even base stance with an upright posture and tight set hands. Swings on a direct path. Has quality bat-to-ball skills present. Getting the lower half more involved will help generate more consistent power. Right-handed pitcher. Shows good intent down the mound. Has quality arm speed into 3/4 slot release. Fastball sat 72-74 mph with quality armside run. Threw it for strikes and generates quick ground balls. Paired it with a sweeping slider at 61-63 mph and a fading, upper-60’s changeup. Both offering show quality movement through the zone.
