Cooper Braxton is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Greensboro, NC who attends Greensboro Day. Solid, well-built frame with wiry strength, some life to his actions and a lot of room to add physicality. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.21 seconds. Primary position outfielder, moving pretty well into his angles and using a clean midline gather to throw. Breaks into full over the top arm angle to produce feeds up to 77 mph back to infield. Similar reps on the infield, using longer strides to angles here and with some extra glove pats before throws. Showed excellent footwork on the slow roller play. Secondary RHP, working from the stretch only from the 1B side of the rubber, quick chest high leg lift and stationary hands at the chest breaking into a deep inline arm path, accelerates through a high 3/4 arm path and gets over front side well, average stride down the slope opening a bit just before foot strike, works a bit towards the 1B line in transition, filling up the zone just fine with his upper-70s fastball with average spin, showed pretty good shape to his low-70s slider. RHH using wider stance, active hands and a bit off time early, steeper path to impact creating mostly ground balls, really likes the ball down. Emerging power and showed some pull side juice. Outstanding student as well.
