David 'Wylie' Walker is a 2024 SS/RHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Huntsville, AL who attends Grissom. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.81 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, moves well side to side and has range, clean glove actions at the ball, long arm action at present to get the ball across the diamond, best suited for second base in the future. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a deep hand load and a turned in front shoulder, long upper body drive swing with some downhill angle to it that creates backspin, best contact to the pull side when he got the barrel out front. Also pitched, has a compact high 3/4's arm slot with a low leading elbow out front. Fastball topped out at 72 mph to go with a soft curveball. Speed is his best tool. Very good student.
