Haygon Jennings is a 2023 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 153 lb. frame from Rush Springs, OK who attends Rush Springs. Medium frame with a very lean build. Ran a 7.89 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, easy mover around the infield, under control actions, plays low to it, fields it well and releases from a higher slot for the most part but can adjust on the move. Also pitched, short and quick delivery, limited extension but enough arm talent to work into mid-70s while showing some feel to spin. Righthanded hitter, deep load on the back side with high hands and a high back elbow, works short through zone with a contact-oriented approach, throws the hands out with some looseness but needs more strength to create leverage and lift at impact.
