Frank Thomas III is a 2027 1B/OF with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Lakewood Ranch, FL who attends IMG Academy. Big and strong athletic build. 6.88 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense with the present tools to play outfield as well, has very confident and polished glove work, moves his feet and takes angles to ground balls, makes accurate throws with plenty of arm strength for the position, will be an asset defensively. Left handed hitter, hits from a medium base with an open front foot, has a loose and fluid swing with good extension through contact, consistent timing, gets the ball in the air and creates carry to all fields.
