Jaymeson Forest is a 2026 3B/RHP/SS with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from St. Louis, MO who attends Duchesne. Large frame with sturdy build and significant muscular strength already with plenty of time to refine.. Ran the 60-yard dash in 7.95 seconds. Primary position infielder, showing some first step quickness and feel for angles. Corner infielder type actions overall with clean glove feel and making plays. Nice midline transfer into standard arm path creating accurate throws across the diamond up to 75 mph. Secondary position RHP, working from the stretch slightly closed using belt high leg lift and accelerating through a 3/4 arm angle. Simple operation and repeats well. Lived on the plate with both offerings. Fastball up 79 mph backed up nicely with mid-70s slider. Projectable on the bump. Left handed hitter, starting slightly open with a good handset and barrel tilt pre-pitch. Loose hands and excellent whip in the barrel. Legitimate power projection here and repeatable mechanics that bodes well longterm. Good student as well.
