Yatin Gade is a 2026 2B/3B/SS with a 6-2 170 lb. frame from Deer Park, IL who attends Barrington. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, some present strength, additional room to fill. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. Primary second baseman, softness to hands and fields the ball out front nicely, will continue to refine footwork and lateral range, shows accuracy on throws across the diamond, arm strength will keep developing. Also pitched, worked exclusively out of the stretch, gets tall on backside, works to a three-quarters release point with a short arm action through the back. Fastball topped out at 72 mph, mostly true in life and worked around the zone, can continue to maintain arm speed on curveball, up to 58 mph with short shape. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high back elbow, utilizes a big leg lift trigger for timing. Loads the hands at start of swing, shows present bat speed through the zone to remain on time and swings with intent. Creates some loft, occasionally gets long in load process, best contact to pull side when squared. 84 mph exit velocity in testing.
