Cullen O’Brien is a 2027 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends St. Xavier High School. Lean athletic build. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary RHP with a fastball and slider combo out of a 3/4 slot. Athletic delivery with a clean arm action and some arm speed. Fastball up to 83 mph with arm side run, located the pitch well. Slider shows late horizontal break in the mid 70's. Uses the pitches effectively off each other. Showed fundamental actions and footwork in both the infield and outfield with the ability to make all the routine plays from both spots with above average arm strength. Hit from an even base with leg lift timing. Compact swings with strength and bat speed. Has some developing ability to lift and drive the baseball. Exit velo of 79 mph off the tee. Very Good student. Named to the High School All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
