Jake Pachmayr is a 2027 C/RHP with a 5-7 150 lb. frame from Boring, OR who attends Central Catholic. Features a smaller sized lean build. Ran a 7.57 60-yd dash. Behind the plate, operated from a knee down set up. Showed quickness out the crouch while gaining good ground but stepping into RH batter's box. Showed trouble with his exchange, botching a couple during his defensive workout. Arm showed avg. strength for his level with throws made uphill that got to the bag on the fly. At the plate, sits in an open stance with relaxed hands. Rocks slightly into his backside and uses a small leg lift trigger he initiates early. Loose hands load with a slight waggle that gets to a more vertical barrel launch. Hands then work direct, trying to work more down and through the baseball. Inconsistent timing during his round where he showed trouble at deeper contact points. Found a couple quality barrels when he caught it out front. Avg. bat/hand speed for his level. On the mound, shows a simple operation. Side steps into a belt high knee lift. Smaller sit in driveleg and works down the mound on-line with an average length stride. Arm works more compact out the back and up to a normal 3/4 slot with average armspeed. FB was up to 76 showing standard 4S shape. Mixed in a loose-spun breaker in the mid 60s with 11-5 shape.
