Jackson Roy is a 2029 SS/2B with a 5-7 125 lb. frame from Natick, MA who attends Belmont Hill. Young, athletic frame with a high waist and lean frame, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front, some bend at the waist, hands play well and works into a longer arm path with a low three-quarters release, accurate throws, comfort making the play on the run. Right-handed hitter, begins with an upright and narrow base with a high hand set tight to body; utilizes a small step moving into contact. Good rhythm to swing and operation, creates leverage through the zone and works to the middle of the field with comfort. Engages lower half well and shows a handle for the barrel with looseness to the hands. Excellent student.
