Shaun Flannery is a 2026 RHP/IF with a 6-0 183 lb. frame from Wallingford, CT who attends Hamden Hall. A medium & slender frame with an athletic build. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a clean and repeatable delivery. Had a knee-to-chest leg lift with quickness overall as he was working to the plate. Worked out of the stretch. Has a whippy arm action and filled up the strike zone. He worked 80-83 mph and reached back for 85 mph on his fastball with some ride. He commands it well and was able to spin it up to 2,135 RPMs. His breaking ball works the low-70s, spinning up to 2,409 RPMs with an 11-5 shape. Punched out 5 hitters over 3 innings pitched. A right-handed hitter with a slightly open stance. Hands stay tight to the body with a forward set. He keeps the back elbow low and uses a hanging leg lift trigger to get on time. Creates good separation and had bat speed through the zone. Was able to show off the barrel control and drive through the zone with strength. He produced an 88 mph exit velocity during his round of BP and 86 mph exit velocity during PG Tech testing. Picked up 3 hits during the games. Also worked out as an infielder showing off good body control. Made the plays and was able to make throws on target. Threw 87 mph across the infield during his infield reps. Projectable actions on the mound and a good showing at the plate as well. UConn commit.
