James Wasson is a 2027 RHP/1B with a 6-5 200 lb. frame from Hinsdale, IL who attends Nazareth Academy. Immense physical projection in a lanky high waisted frame with plenty more in store. Right-handed pitcher works stretch only toward the first base side and upright. Mid three-quarter slot and lower release height with some good deception, pronation to his arm action that is hard to pick up out of the hand. Firm armside run and sink to fastball ate batters on the hands. Changeup has great potential, higher spun offering great pronation and mimics well from same tunnel. Firm slider with late bite and sweep. Changes eye levels and offers loads of physical projection left.
