2024 National Indoor Showcase (Sunday-Wood River)
Quinn Jackson is a 2026 RHP/3B, SS, OF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Evansville, IN who attends Evansville Memorial. Recorded a 7.00 second sixty yard dash time. Medium frame with a compact build with present athleticism. Primary right-handed pitcher works from a full-wind up from the first base side of the rubber. A bit of a hitch in the delivery when he coils. Hands stay around the belt. Just above the belt leg lift. Breaks into a deep arm path, releases from a three-quarter slot. Medium stride to foot strike, gets over his front side nicely with intent. Smooth lower half movements with a purposeful drive down the slope. The fastball (1874 RPM) was 80-83 and fairly straight and moving it around the zone well. Mixed in a shorter slider (1920 RPM) that was mid-70s that worked well breaking out of the zone. Induced weak contact when he lives down in the zone. Has a definite feel for the mound. Also worked out in the outfield. Attacks it and fields it properly off his front foot with a deep arm action and some present arm speed. Longer release with a higher three-quarter slot. The right-handed hitter with a wider stance and high hands and a high back elbow, utilizes a lengthly hover trigger. Quick hips with a flat stroke with strong hands and more juice in the tank. Able to get on plane and on time to work it back up the middle. Some good impact through the middle of the field. Added an opposite field hit during game action. Exciting player with good upside. Great student.
