George Katsaros is a 2024 RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Mamaroneck, NY who attends Rye Neck. Long limbed projectable build. Works from the stretch with good lower half mechanics down the mound, high 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball worked in the mid-70's and topped out at 77 mph, showed very good fastball command and worked to both sides of the plate with intent, mostly straight. Showed good the same type of command and feel for his slurve type slider and got plenty of swing and miss on that pitch. 7.67 runner in the sixty. Played the outfield when not on the mound, fields the ball cleanly off his front foot and has a good transition into throwing, high front side throwing that can throw off his direction at times and cause him to throw uphill. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a high hand load, downhill swing plane, rotational upper body swing. Good student.
