Shaeffer Sitton is a 2028 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Crossville, TN who attends Stone Memorial. Long and lanky young build. Works from a full wind up with a rocker step into a high leg raise, good direction to the plate, arm is loose and gets extension out front. Fastball topped out at 78 mph and came out of his hand well, showed good run and sink at times and threw strikes with the pitch. Change up was a solid pitch with good feel for the zone and some fading life. Still developing feel for his slider. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Plays the infield when not on the mound with third base actions, feet work well coming to the ball and stays balanced well, makes accurate throws. Right handed hitter, starts from a balanced straight stance with good rhythm in his hand load, compact swing with some lift, has quick hands and some bat speed and drove the ball well to the gaps with some back spin, projects well as a hitter as he continues to get stronger. Could see him developing as a position player more than as a pitcher if the bat comes.
